garmin-ant-downloader software package provides ANT+ information retrieval client for Garmin GPS products, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install garmin-ant-downloader
garmin-ant-downloader is installed in your system.
Make ensure the garmin-ant-downloader package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep garmin-ant-downloader *
You will get with garmin-ant-downloader package name, version, architecture and description in a table
